So living in South Carolina means living with all manner of new creatures. Some, I like (house geckos, anoles) but now I have encountered the first one that has made me recoil in horror.
The banana spider. There is one out back right now. Like the reptiles, it's doing me a favor and controlling the insect population around my house, but man... I'm not used to living with such large, frankly unsettling things.
