at work. there's not a whole lot to do so i'm just typing up finals notes to study.
today is the last day of regular classes (and almost the end of my 3rd year at college). woo! (and weird)
so close to my BA
saturday there was a star reunion banquet. it was pretty swank. we're talking multiple forks and waiters dressed in tuxedos. we inducted some pretty impressive people into the paper's hall of fame this year including a pulitzer prize winner for covering the LA riots, a NY times writer, the president of the fort-worth paper, and the head of sports illustrated online. it's nice to have a sense of belonging to something that has led other people to success and happiness in their lives.
the paper is having another "banquet" tonight potluck-style for our imediate staff... which will be delicious. i'm already starving. i have to go home and make some cornbread to share. mmm

last night scott & i watched this badass documentary on pbs called "Imagining America: Icons of 20th-Century American Art". it went over polluck, warhol, etc with awesome artist interviews and examined why they painted the way they did and what questions they were asking themselves and the world. it was inspiring. pbs is truly amazing. i love just about every show i ever happen to see on that station
then we watched bill maher who always puts on a wicked show.
tonight i need to start packingggg so i can move into NEW APARTMENT tomorrow... yesssssssss. haha!
i figure i need to make about $500 more to ride out the summer comfortably until we start running regular issues again in the fall. hmm...
deuce
