this week has been good. nothing too amazing. i've felt really accomplished though... maybe it's the weather. everything feels so clean. i made a 94 on that physical anthropology test which really boosted my confidence after being trapped in all of my shitty evil-grading writing intensive history classes for so long.
valentine's was great. scott is such a sweetheart. while i was at my night class he came over to my place and cooked a yummy pizza for me and bought champagne and we watched jon stewart and the colbert report. he gave me some super cute framed pictures of us. we also got it on a few times. yesss.
todaaay i had my first intramural softball practice. i'm actually pretty good for never really having played before. i hit every time. i have a tendency to pop the ball over to 3rd. my arm is sore. come on muscle! my co-worker put together a team and all of the guys are psyched about going to the play-offs. so we will see... i'm excited. my skillz are definitely going to increase. i tend to get really competitive with sports/games.
that's about it. i have to study a bunch this weekend. i have 3 tests and an osteology quiz next week. i've already made an A on the quiz even though i haven't taken it yet (parietal, external auditory meatus, radius, lumbar vertebrae, metacarpals, sagittal suture, etc etc). i love skeletons. they're really interesting to examine. i think i am going to specialize in forensic or physical anthropology. i can't stop thinking about graduation... and then grad school, or real life, or travel, or peace corps, or doom. endless possibilities.
i also need to cllllleaan my apartment. it still hasn't fully recovered since friday.
mike might be getting a keg tonight, so the studying may just have to wait a while.
i didn't mean to sound above average-ly egotistical in this post. things are just moving along really smoothly right now
