Lock the door, kill the lights no one is coming home tonight, I am listening to Tools cover of No Quarter and it makes me think every time that I hear it how brilliant of a cover song it is. It manages to keep the essence of the original but yet have its own unique quality and Tool sound.
I am losing more faith in humanity as the years pass, I find most people to be deceptive and non trust worthy and I often refer to people like place holders in a book just keeping your place until you move onto the next chapter. At the age of 28 I really have no significant relationships with my peers and often spend most of my free time doing things by myself, I really need to find a buddy that has the same interests as me so that I can have company.
On a much happier note I recently returned from a family vacation to Florida for Thanksgiving and I had more fun as an adult than I can remember I did when I was a child. I absolutely loved Universal Studios and Sea World. I got to fee stingrays and it was an experience, Sting rays suck up there food from their bellies and when you feed them you get to put your hand in their tank and they swim over you and suck up the food from your hands. I also got to feed the Sea Lions which are very interesting creatures and really smart as well, they know just to look at you and make loud noises to get their food. There is something about going on vacation that allows you to re charge your batteries and forget the mundane details of your daily life, you can be anyone you want on vacation and this is refreshing.
I went and Saw Passion Pit and Phoenix last night at the Miracle on Tremont street and I had an amazing time, both bands really brought out the best in the crowd and Phoenix received one of the loudest ovations that I have ever heard at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, it almost appeared that they were overwhelmed with how much love the audience gave them and it was a special moment for them.
Now is the time of the season to remember those that are less fortunate than ourselves and try to be charitable, I hope that I can practice what I preach and bring a smile to someones face this holiday season

My faith in humanity is continually shattered and restored. It's all very cyclical. Generally, I find I get from people what I give them, and I generally tend not to give very much.
Oddly, I was in Florida last year after not having been there since I was a child. I had a bit less fun this time, though my companions may have played a part.
