I just saw Bruno and I have to say it was extremely funny, it really made my day to go out and have a good laugh. Many people make SBC out to be a bad man but he is merly just holding up a mirror to the homophobic attitudes of the uninformed. I think this movie is as much of a social commentary as it is a comedy based on a fictional character. It is funny when you can walk away from a movie and have a deeper sense of appreciation for what the artist was trying to accomplish with their absurdity. I have heard many media outlets say that SBC is poking fun at the lesser polished citizens of the United States but it is more alarming that we have people in this day and age that can not except different lifestyle choices and viewpoints.
I have also come to the conclusion that telling the truth can be the most difficult thing you can ever do. How do you tell people that their attitudes or lifestyle is not what you can except without hurting their feelings. I am starting to lose respect for someone who I once thought would be my ideal friend. I may be over sensitive or highly critical of my perception of what a firend should be but I can not be the only one putting effort into a relationship. A relationship weather it be dating or platonic needs to foster a give and take between the two individuals involved. I do not feel that most of my relationships are yielding this result, and this makes me sad. I want to make lifelong friends who inspire and challenege me to be a good person and to open my mind to different things, I do not feel I am challeneged in this regard.
I am glad that a web site like suicide girls exists so that I can go to a place where I can appreciate beauty that is not widely recognized, Tattooed women are so beautiful to me and I appreciate your words as well as your pictures, thank you for being you
I may actually go to a party tomorrow and attempt to be social, while peoples drinking will annoy me I have to look past this and just have a good time

I look forward to aging, I just get begin to ponder the meaning of my life and what I've accomplished. When I'm left to my own thoughts like that, it usually does get pretty depressing.

I agree, My mind is amazing at being my own devil, being alone with your thoughts is the most sobering experience in my opinion, I can relate to the self evaluation that on often ponders when left to their own devices. I am my biggest fan and critic all at the same time it is this paradox that can create confusion whwn I get lost in my head.. At least were not alone in self evaluation depression.
