that's a quote from a postal service song. it might even be the title. and it's funny, too, that it took a postal service song, "nothing better," to finally get the message i wanted to convey across to gabriel (my husband). he finally realized that he was putting me in a position where i felt like i had no control over my life (due to the law in AL that states: custodial parents must have written permission from non-custodial parents in order to get passports or move 60 miles or more away from non-custodial parent.) ryan has already agreed to sign for katana & now gabriel has finally agreed to sign for kagome. it is quite a relief. he is still planning on moving to the beach & has generously given me an open invitation to move down there with him as friends & start a new life if i so choose to...no more feeling blackmailed or trapped. thank the powers that be. so, just to be clear, we've agreed that we are NOT together & that my life is back in my own hands.
in other news, i am planning to go out tomorrow night, pending michael stays true to his word & babysits for me. i'm sure he will, though, because he's known about this night for like a month & already promised to be here for me....unfortunately he has broken a few of those promises lately & that's not like him. it makes me really sad when he does things like say he's coming over & then never show up or call, when i know he had access to a phone & i tried to call him several times, leaving several worried messages...so, michael if you read this, please come to my place ASAP. i miss your company!
sunday is reily's birthday party (my friend Alisha's son). i am supposed to go to that, but only if i have a babysitter or a tag-along, will i be able to go.
other than that, now i just have to come up with $1700 for the retainer for my divorce lawyer (who is also taking care of my advance directive, last will & testament, missed child support from ryan, & ryan's papers to sign).
i had a really hard time paying my bills this month because i didn't get any child support from ryan. i couldn't have done it without my close friend, Armin. thank you so much.
