An afternoon to myself after a morning of yoga, and I could not be more thankful.
I am exhausted but in decently good spirits, feeling very thankful for all of the wonderful things in the world, and friends that I share this experience with. Thanks for the holiday cheer, everyone. Thanks for the gifts and cards, and wonderful words.
Cheer.
I never want to turn off the Christmas lights, ever.
I have this love/hate thing going on with the weather and scenery around here. But I think it might just be that there's charm and what's familiar and consistent, sort of like the point at which depression becomes a comfortable way to exist. I hate this area, but I sort of like the old air/cracked cement-ness of December.
I am ok in a weird sort of way.
I want to say more but I just drank a whole bottle of neurosleep and I can already feel myself falling away. Happy holidays, my sweet darlings. xoxox
p.s.
