What is truth ? I noticed that this question divides people into two groups.
There are those who believe that there is one big universal, inalterable truth, a truth which concerns all aspects of life, from the one and only "right" receipe to make a vinaigrette up to the one and only truth regarding god, politics, sexuality, life and everything else. Sometimes, but not always, the truth is written down in a book. This truth is per definitionem perfect, undoubtable and absolutely consistent, for if ever an inconsistency or paradox would occur, the truth would shatter like a mirror and break into uncountable many truth fragments, and nobody would ever be able to put the pieces together again, and the universe would become a very, very strange place, sad and ridiculous at the same time.
And then there are those who believe that this already happened.
(Needless to say that I belong to the second kind of people... What about you ?)
