Terrorists organizations would love another Republican president. The more attacks they pull off the more fear they inspire, and the more people will clamor for an all out invasion again and vote Republican. ISIS, just like Al-Qaeda, knows the only way to truly defeat us is to bleed us of treasure and lives just like they did to the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 80's. Many Americans don't realize how much these organizations pay attention and try to manipulate our politics. A good example is the 1980 election. The Iranians purposefully waited to release the hostages until Reagan had won even though Carter had negotiated the release so it would hurt his chances of reelection and escalate the conflict. I almost guarantee you the frequency of attacks will escalate as our election draws closer. These people want a final battle. They want Armageddon. Americans need to stop deluding themselves into thinking there aren't leaders here who would love the same. Peace, unfortunately, is not a universal goal.
