well, my therapist asked me to bring in my daughter to meet her. i spicifically asked for a child psycologist when i requested a therapist. the therapist said she seemed very well adjusted with what was going on in our lives. i think it's me mainly, worrying about the crap i went through, and not wanting her to go through the same thing. then she asked me if i believed in god. oh shit, here we go. i replied yes i do, but i hate organized religon. why you ask? to sum it up, here's a quote "killing in the name of god." then i laid out a nice little math problem for her. one little spot of land. the temple mound. average 80 people die each week, of religous "causes". multiply that by 52 weeks in a year, and then again by 2000 years. that's more than the holocaust and WW2 combined. all in the name of god. sorry, religous rant. my apologies to certian friends on here. i'm going to indy next week for my ex's sisters wedding. not really looking forward to it. i pray for stability.

If it was your daughter it was a question that was bound to come up and you answered very honestly.
If it was you therapist that was a strange question to ask. Unless you guys talk about the whole God thing. But by your reply does not seem that way. Maybe she needs to explain why she asked. But great reply back!!
Good luck at your ex's wedding?? Are you required to go?? I know that I still have family requirements that I have to do with my ex because we have kids but if there is no requirement I do not attend said functions.
