Hey, party people!
I guess it has been a while...
At work, my pharmacy manager had a baby, so I have been in charge for the last month. It's going well, I guess, I have just been putting in a lot of hours, since I want things to go well - especially since all eyes are on me now. We have been having a lot of floater pharmacists coming thru since someone has to cover the shifts that the other pharmacist had, so it is a bit of a mess. Floater pharmacists typically aren't so great... I think they don't feel like it is their pharmacy, so they don't care as much. Plus, at my pharmacy, the pharmacist needs to do more than just verify prescriptions, they have to do some typing and use the register. The floaters aren't use to that, so the rest of the staff has to work a little harder than they're use to...
But, it will be somewhat back to normal soon, since the other pharmacist comes back near the end of September.
My cousin also had a baby, and so did my friend from pharmacy school. All the babies are healthy and so are the moms. I guess Nov-Dec is a busy baby making season...
I had a couple of little vacats the past few months. Went to Magic Mountain, Hollywood, Disneyland, and Vegas with my dad and my brother. We drove all the way... Interesting trip, having the 3 of us together all that time...I dunno if I want to do that again. And the drive back from Vegas was terrible. It seemed to go on forever!!!
I also went to Disneyland and California Adventures with my roommate and her sister and mom. That was pretty fun! The roommates mom hasn't been to Disneyland in forever and the sister has never been to So Cal before. It was awesome having her go the 1st time and experience everything with that child-like sense of wonder. This was my first time to CA Adventures, which we mostly went to see the World of Color, which was pretty cool. The wait was kinda ridiculous, though. We had to get a FastPass in the morning, which took 45 minutes in line, then we had to line up 1 hour and 15 minutes before the show actually started. All for a 25 minute show. AND, there was a light in front of me, blocking my view. I got video of a bunch of it, I'll have to figure out how to get it on here...
I also went on the Tower of Terror, which was pretty crazy. I didn't know really what to expect and it was pretty terrifying!
I'll have to go on it again the next time I'm over there!
Well, back to Starcraft 2. Been waiting 11 years for this game to come out...
