Despite the best efforts of politicians to depress me (what the hell was Theresa May doing when she spun a totally distorted Human Rights legislation story at the Tory party conference that would have made even a Sun editor blush?) I have had a good few days, even though the sun has gone and the rain has set in.

It was my birthday this week...

So my Air Hearts set with Etana went live yesterday and we have had some amazingly positive comments. It was such fun to shoot and edit and I am really pleased for her - there's definitely a warm glow to be had from others' warm glows smile

And I got accepted into SGUK! That is great - I have wanted to become a member for a...

So it seemed like a theme: cyber gossip. The deceptive ease with which rumour and innuendo slip through the social networks and make it appear to us that we are talking as much to ourselves as to another person because the recipients are remote, invisible; because it is our fingers tapping out patterns on little screens held close to our chests, and our voices confined...

I got home yesterday from my long weekend in North Yorkshire, full of happiness and with lots of photos to edit. Anyway, I downloaded the material and did the edit and then had a chat with younger son (Edward) and his partner (Amy) who had come over. I then ran them back to the station.

The set I shot of Yesenia is now in Member Review!

Really pleased about it. She looks stunning and the whole mood and tone is just what we were hoping for when we planned the day.

Looking forward to doing some more now smile

Lots of editing planned for this weekend: I am catching up with some studio work and planning for March and April as...

Well, shot my first set for a Suicide Girl last week: the lovely Yesenia

Just sent off the edited set, so fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I'm working on some concept projects and hope to be back in the studio next week. Having a lot of fun with the work at the moment and meeting some amazing people.

Watched "Antichrist". Now there's a film where the director got in the way of it being brilliant. It was like an amazing, dark and disturbing painting being created only to have the artist slash the brush across it over and over again just before it is finished.

Pity. Why do people not know when to stop?
