so i finally have enough time to sit down and write a proper entry!
i've been quite busy since i got to adelaide. i've been lying in the sun getting an awesome tan and spending lots of sexy time with mr thomas
i promise to try and get online and write to you all more often!!!
if anyone wants a postcard of a dingo or a wombat or the traditional old kangeroo just drop me your address.
i have become quite fond of writing postcards

as for me...hmmmmm...lets see...

i'm still in adelaide. i don't love it here but it's a'ight and tom is here so that makes it better.

i have found it completely impossible to get a job since i've been here which is sooooo frustrating!
i have sent my CV everywhere to all kinds of different places. (even places i don't really want to work) and i have been on lots of interviews and trials and nothing. it's rather disheartening.

adelaides best feature - as far as i'm concerned - is a place called the chocolate bean.
they make the most amazing hot drinks and ice drinks. (orange hot choc's and mocha's are our favs)

they also make vegan truffles! (my fav is cherry and tom's is violet)
and they serve them in martini glasses which i swear makes them yummier!


the past sunday tom , ingrid (tom's mummy) and i went to the adelaide vegan festival. it was pretty cool. there was a much better turn out than i expected.
there was lots of animal rights stuff and lots of good food stalls and then some yoga and hippy stuff

about a week or so ago tom, the always gorgeous coralsea and i went to a burlesque show at this adorable little club/bar called la boheme. it was so much fun!
i want to be a burlesque performer now.
it was exactly what burlesque and pin up should be and not just an excuse for tits and ass.
i will definately go see more of their shows. i may even join in!

there is an erotic dance studio across the road from where tom's school is and as soon as i get a job and find the time i am going to enrol in pole dancing classes
i've always wanted to learn how to pole dance!!!

a few weeks ago tom, coralsea, her son and i all went to see nightmare before christmas in 3D.
it was so damn cool! we kept our glasses cause we thought we looked spiffy! (yes spiffy )


also a really good movie we watched recently was satans cheerleaders. it's this awesome old school horror from 1977.

we also watched my personal fav slumber party massacre. circa 1982.


this weekend we are going to see the first part of grindhouse - deathproof.
we really wanted to go to the drive-in and see it but it isn't playing there yet.

so i'm still living at tom's house with his parents - who are the nicest most amazing people!
i feel like i'm just part of the family. we do lots of stuff together which is nice. i went shopping with tom's mum and hang out with his parents when tom works nights.
we all sit down at the table and eat dinner together most nights too. i love it!
tom and his mum have so much fun creating new things from the vegan cookbooks tom has.
i don't think i have ever eaten this well!

on sunday night it was tom's sisters birthday dinner and then we all sat down and played national bingo.
there is a bingo gameshow on TV and you can download gamecards and play along and win stuff at home.
i think tom and i had the most fun. we love the referee guy. he's indian and when no-one has bingo he calls out 'noooooooooooooooooooooo BINGO!' it's so hilarious!
there was a joke on some other australian program about how he was the juror who read out the lindy chamberlain verdict and it had him standing in the courtroom saying 'nooooooooooooooooo DINGO!'
(for anyone who doesn't know about lindy chamberlain - basically she was charged with the murder of her baby. she told police that a dingo ate it while they were camping in the outback. there was no evidence a dingo ate her baby and lots of evidence that she killed her baby.)

so yeah...i get pretty bored sometimes without a job. luckily tom is a good sport when it comes to entertaining me


i really really miss my best friends from home!
i miss laughing so hard with mez! and coffee and shopping with erin (hoga the giant ) and talking about food with alyssa and i miss tuesdays with my petie!
tom and i are planning a trip back to my hometown in the new year and i am so freakin excited!!!
