i'm still a bit sick and so i tried to stay home and rest but i got bored and took myself for a little walk because i haven't realy explored much of what is directly around me since i moved.
i knew there was a subway and a liquor store and of course the cardrona and their lovely unusually large pints of beer!
but today i found a new dairy and so i stocked up on ice-blocks...for my throat of course!
and then i discovered that they stock my fav soda!
(not all dairies here do...)

oh sweet sweet dr pepper! oh how i love thee!

then i came home and talked on the phone to mel about her boy problems.
her love life has all gone a bit wrong...

then i talked to pedronz on the phone. oh how i love the hours we can spend talking nonsense with each other!

then and this is by far the coolest part of my day!
i logged on to the travel agent website to book my one way ticket to melbourne and they had a special deal and my ticket only cost me $158!!!
i saved like $170!

i'm so excited! i leave in ten weeks today.
i had to ring all my friends and tell them how excited i was. haha.

the only sad thing is the person i most wanted to talk to i couldn't get hold of...*sigh*
