First entry, here we go. Well, first off, thanks to pearlbass for requesting my friendship, the first of hopefully many, who knows. And for introducing me to the site and other SG people on random nights out. Actually I should give equal thanks to kate too for an introduction to the whole SG mentality and culture. So big up your bad self Kate, i believe is the colloquial expression (ahem).
Small piece of background for those who may be interested. I live in a pokehole in the middle of Ireland currently, having moved here from London as a result of my own incredibly crap decision making skills. However I plan an imminent return to the big smoke, as I've simply had enough of ignorance, spite and malice. That small town mentality, valley of the squinting windows type of thing. Just spent the last week in the company of the woman I love, very satisfying indeed. But as ever, so short-lived. However things are soon to change on that front too, if I have anything to do about it.
Spent the day today recording cello, it's such a beautiful instrument. There's just such an innate and undeniable beauty in the whole craftsmanship thing, you know? It always amazes me how our sullied evil little human hands can bend wood so lovingly for the sake of sheer expression.
Tomorrow I shall be mostly editing, but cool stuff though - it's the turn of one of my favourite bands that I'm working with, they rock like fuckery, it's so much fun to work with, heh heh .
So I guess that's about it for now, I'd write more, but I don't want to give too much away at once
