Who cares about Iraq, either; most Iraqis want us gone but Bush is too arrogant to see past the tip of his nose, so we'll probably be there for awhile longer. Hunter S. Thompson called the late 60's the high water mark for the seeker generation. "On a clear night in Las Vegas," he said, "you can almost see where the wave broke and fell away."
