Hi boys and girls, i realise its been a long time since i've done one of these so seen as i'm a little bored i shall enlighten the world with my current thoughts, rack up possible "omfg you pasted that" comments (which I haven't), and probably develop RSI and wear orthopaedic bracers on my elbows in a couple of years.
So yea, where to begin! i looked around today at the amount of cars piled up everywhere (christ ;/) and it made me think that the human race really is only after convenience and things to make their lives as easy and carefree as can be in the short-term, not even thinking/caring about what IS going to happen in the long-term. Its obvious enough to think to yourself "boy... if we keep using all of the planets natural resources they'll run out eventually wont they?" but you know, its a whole different story to actually do anything about it. Most of us cannot/dont really care about the whole situation, and the people that can do anything about the whole sordid situation sit in their phat mansions with all of their luxuries and pleasures completely dismissing the fact that in the future the planet is fucked and human race will no longer exist. Our childrens childrens children may die because of our actions. The human race shalt suffer and perish when the planet crumbles and we are forced into decline.
Humans are parasites, we suck the life from the planet for our own guilty pleasures without even thinking. We are like the planets Cancer, we are its disease. We will eventually wear it down and it shall die, and its life-span compared to the other planets is going to be pathetically short. What gave us the right to do such a thing? We continue to attack the planet because it has no defense. Its my belief that things like the Tsunami are actually a defense mechanism of the planet to try and cut down the number of humans living on the face of the earth and restore some sort of balance in its stratosphere, and though such incidents are horrific, so is what we continue to do, every day of our lives. We question nothing, we live the way we have in the past and we live in ignorance. We... question... nothing. Why do we never question the way we live? Why do we never turn on a light and think "hmm, that was probably a bit of a selfish thing to do." Because we just don't. I cannot explain why, and if you can then you are probably more intelligent than i am, and i'd love to hear the reasoning behind it. (I'm not really particularly intelligent i just like to talk alot ;> And whilst i sit on my computer typing this away, using up my merry electricity, i am an utter hypocrit, and too much of a coward to do anything about it. My self worth would be sinking by the day... but then you have to realise...
We do not know why we've been put on this earth, nobody wrote us out an answer on paper and threw it at us, we have to make our own decisions, live our own lives, and get on with it, and as much as a burden it might be to the planet, it is a blessing for us, and we have to make the most of it.
After all, it is our last life.
And it often seems some people forget that. But thats their choice, i'm going to make the most of what i've got, thank you.
Hopefully that'll stir some thought in some of you, eh. And if it doesn't, thats fine, its probably not an exciting read unless your into depressing shit ;>
Good night ladies and gentlemen, i have been jack and you have been Wonderful. xxx
