yay 2006! i had a weird 2005.....a lot of really great stuff and some really terrible times too. it was definitely memorable though.
i am 6 months preggo right now and the most exciting thing is feeling her kick. i swear she is like a heavyweight boxer but im sure every preggo girl must feel that way. sometimes its just very suprising how much momentum she can gain behind a kick. insane!
i am starting to get more tired and bigger....more strain to the back and feet lately. walking all day shopping puts me to sleep as soon as i get home. but all in all i wouldnt trade this stage for the first trimester with the morning sickness and other not so pleasant symptoms. i didnt think i could survive at that point. i am nervous about labor, its just so hard when you dont know what youre in for you know? and its so different with every woman, so you really never know until youre done. i guess im trying not to freak out about it, as i know that wont help anything. i say bring it on, and when im yelling and crying like a baby, then ill worry about it.
i think i have a bit of a different situation than most expectant mothers because i havent really had the time to give tons of thought to what the baby will be like when she gets here or any planning at all besides the basics. marc and i still have to finish the refurbishing of the house and are so busy daily taking care of that and grandma, that sometimes i even forget im pregnant at all. maybe its good that my mind is so busy for right now.
so in very exciting news, im finally getting hitched. we are going the weekend b4 valentines day. [ the original plan was vday but i think its fine that were doing it b4 then anyway, it is a busy day to be married ] we are getting married at the excalibur in las vegas and we'll be accompanied by billiejoe and her hubby. we are so f'ing exciting...i have never seen my fiance so pumped before its awesome. he's never really been in vegas before, just stopped over at the state line once...
thats all the updating i think....we're worried about money [who isnt?] and i think it is going to be tight for a while, but after the baby comes and the house is done, marc will be able to get a better paying job so i think it will level out a bit then.
yay!!!!
