So I've been meaning to start a blog since I got to the US. I was going to get my own webspace and make my own page and all that, but I do enough techy stuff at work thankyou very much. This seemed like the decent place to pay my monthly bill and natter away about nothing and everything...
I've thought of a whole load of stuff to write in the three months I've been in California, but there's no way I'm going to pour all that out in one entry. I'll just rant about whatever's on my mind I guess.
Tonight, I've been playing Texas Hold'em with the guys from work. I never thought I would be into poker, but I love it. I lost. Again. I'm no good anyway, but tonight I kept getting shit cards. Still, I'd spend more if we went to the pub.
A friend of mine who moved away before I left got in touch this week. That made me happy 'cos I'd lost his email address, and he didn't get my new one.
***Good in the US: Breakfast. Restaurant service in general in fact.
***Bad in the US: Mail-in-rebates on everything? What the f is that all about?
