I ended up seeing The Passion of the Christ at a midnight preview show last night, and while I don't think I can recommend it to anyone who isn't a Christian or specifically interested in Jesus, it was really well done. As far as movies about Jesus getting beaten up for two hours go.
Stupid things I did today:
- figured out that the girls that you can pick for your profile page are not there as part of some larger voting/popularity-tracking system on site, and are there, in fact, merely for easy personal access.
- posted news to the culture groups, and didn't bother to format the "easy tags" correctly. Man, if it was in HTML, it would have looked smoking. Or, at least, functional.
I want to go to the comic store, but my roommate has to cash my cheque through his bank (because I don't use banks--which wasn't a big deal when I worked at the book store in Vancouver and got paid out every day in cash, but it's a bit more of a hassle now) and he keeps forgetting. So I'm poor. Still. Even though I've been paid. Fuck.

i miss going to the comic store. since i don't have a car anymore, and b/c i stay pretty busy, combined w/the fact that the nearest store is an incovenient train ride away .... i don't get to the comix store much anymore. i rely on the internet & the us postal service for my fix. i miss grimy counters, old posters, and that creepy guy behind the counter....
