Bad news folks the computer is sick and needs to go to the doctor. Technically I can still use it (when I put it back together) but it gets so hot that computer people told me I really shouldn't be using it as it might be frying stuff inside and then it will take even more money to repair. So yeah if anyone knows a sony vaio specialist in Edinburgh let me know please. Im in a bloody internet cafe at the moment and will check up on here every now and then until its fixed. No idea how long that will take. hopefully not long but the bottom line is I want to avoid shipping it to the states to get fixed.

I had to ship a Vaio off to be repaired last week, it goes to France because it's a warranty job.
The Sony centre in Morningside really weren't much help, don't know if you've already tried them.
