well not a great week

bad news: got rejected from georgetown (not even waitlisted) which means i only have bowling green (ohio) to accept or not. After two essays im doing in the next three days I will sit down with a drink and go through all the options. May end up staying in UK for a while and then reapplying or might go to bowling green do a masters and then reapply. not really sure yet. lots of things to think about.

bad news: Had a nightmare of a game in goals for the footie team and basically lost us the game (4-2) by letting in two comically soft goals early on.

Good news: Am going to try and get part of my dissertation published in a philosophy journal. supervisor thinks with a little work its quite doable. would be very if i did and would make any future applcation to grad school way way better.
