OK, in order to do more work with the Law of Fives and its various corollaries, I intend to begin posting a daily Erisian numbers column. If you don't like it, you can't have any.
For today:
Today's date is 8/05/2005
Just to start, there are two obvious fives, in the day at the end of the year. However, the more astute observer will also notice that 8 is equal to 2 x 2 x 2, or 2 to the 3rd power (I really need to figure out how to do super- and sub-scripts on here). Since 2 + 3 equals 5, there's a hidden five lurking in the month, likely hiding from the fives in the day and year.
That's enough Discordian fun for the day.
