So, at this point, I've mostly finished the long papers I need to write. I need to start on the short papers this weekend. Within about two weeks, I should have absolutely everything done. In three, we'll be in leaving to spend a week in LA with someone truly wonderful.
I'm looking forward to the summer as well right now. I'll get to start working on my own research projects, so I'm going to do a bunch of reading on intellectual property and property rights generally so that I can write about five thousand words on the topic. In addition, I'll be revising a paper I did on perceptual illusions last semester. I'm actually getting to the point where I feel like a professional philosopher.
Moving this summer will suck because moving is always a huge hassle. However, once we're moved in, everything should be groovy, and another wonderful someone will be spending some time down here.
At the moment, the outlook is fairly pleasant.
Plans for 4/20 involve getting very high and making a pot of red beans. I've actually managed to clear that day of school-related work, so it's just a day off. Tara is making chocolate-covered strawberries to take care of the munchies.
Because of my philosophy of mind class and my free will class, I've been thinking a good bit about scientific bias (mine, that is), and I think I'm getting to a point where I understand more deeply why it should be less strict. It's actually been less strict for a while, but now I'm running into the theoretical hurdles associated with a strict scientific bias. Also, I still dislike Hobbes, but now I can refute him pretty thoroughly, on logical grounds. Feels good.
Lots of things feel good.
Namaste.

It's an ancient art history paper. i'm excited about it... on women and cave paintings. I just feel like my arguement isn't strong enough. I'm sure it reads better than I think it does though, that's usually the case.
I'm off to see grindhouse! yay!
