Do you Ubuntu?
So, last night, I finished my last paper, as noted. Car stuff is still up in the air. So, rather than revise my last two papers, I decided to do something complicated. Well, somewhat complicated.
This is my first post from Ubuntu. First of all, this is much easier than installing Red Hat 6.1 seven years ago. I had internet access immediately, so I have been able to look up fixes for every problem I've had so far. I've got filesharing up on the network, and I should be able to get the printer working on the network tomorrow. I had some issues with my USB hub, mostly in that if my keyboard and mouse are plugged into it, they run very slowly, and it wasn't happy with my mp3 player being plugged into it. However, I think I know why, and my keyboard and mouse are just plugged into the back of my tower. i have enough USB slots for that, but I need the hub working mostly for really minor stuff like my PDA and my mp3 player. I do have restricted formats working, so I can listen to my music. I'll stop going into a list of what I've done with it today, because it goes on. It's not all working the way I wanted it (mainly I still need to get my second hard drive on line), but it's coming along.
Tomorrow, we're going to LaPlace to return the rental car, do some laundry and borrow my mum's car until we see what's happening with the Neon. It should all work out eventually.
I still have a LiveCD for mac and pc. John, if you need or want some assistance with that 64-bit cd, let me know.

I feel a little jealous.
