Today, I managed to finish the longest paper. By finish, I mean I got to the required word count and made all of the points I want to make. I still needs some revision, and I plan to tackle that tomorrow. In the way of celebrating, we decided to go out to eat. I'm skipping department stuff tomorrow because Tara needs art supplies, we need groceries, and I need to work. I'm glad that I've gotten this close to the end of the tunnel. It feels good. Tomorrow, I'll revise the paper I have done then work on the Aristotle paper. If not for the game, I know I could finish everything this weekend. Even with it, there's a good chance. Fortunately, I don't need to finish everything this weekend, just the one I finished tonight.
I also got some Ubuntu CDs in the mail today. They send them for free, so I decided to get some when I was still trying to get the LiveCD I downloaded and burned to work. Now that I can get that one to work, I don't need these since they're for the last version and the one I burned is the most recent. I was glad to find out that the CDs came with some stickers. I remember when I bought Red Hat 6.1 and it came with some stickers. Used some to cover up the Compaq logo on my desktop. There is no such logo on my tower now, but I decided an Ubuntu sticker would be nice anyway. I was just saying the other day that it would be cool to get Ubuntu stickers. Anyway, the real point of all of this is that I have three Ubuntu CDs, all can be used as LiveCDs and to install Ubuntu. One is for normal PCs, one is for 64-bit architectures, and one is actually for Mac. Note that I have neither a 64-bit computer nor a Mac. I figured that they were free, so I might as well get one of each flavor for handing out to people. Anyone want one? Anyone who's thinking of purchasing a Mac and thinks they might want to dual-boot because they still like Linux? Just let me know.
That about wraps it up for now, kids. Enjoy.
