As of today, I think it's mostly downhill. One of my term papers is very nearly done, maybe two more sessions, one writing and one revising. I hit the halfway mark on the Aristotle paper last week or the wee before, but put it aside because it's due after everything else. Today, I passed the halfway mark on the political philosophy paper. In each case, I know how I will fill the remaining space, it's just a matter of doing it. 1000 words per day isn't too bad a pace for me. As long as I start early enough, I can get everything done without getting too burnt out, and starting early is essential for grad school anyway. I do have to resist the urge to hit ctrl+s every few seconds right now.
Got a short break when Q called. All too short of a break, at that. She did remind me, indirectly, that I haven't posted since before thanksgiving. Tara summed up the most significant events, I think. Lots of running around, a good bit of cooking. I've had headaches off and on the past few days, but I'm chalking it up to stress and weather fluctuations.
When we got back from the grad student thanksgiving meal, we watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas to kick off the holiday season. I realized that I had been relying on cable to hit me up with yule-themed movies, and I don't have that resource now. End result, I took it upon myself to watch Bad Santa the other night. I've got to get my yuletide cheer from somewhere.
Right now, I've hit my quota for today, waiting to watch the new episode of Heroes, and beginning the large back-up project by dumping one large folder onto my laptop. 99 minutes remaining.
