Today I had the first lecturer in my History of Logic seminar. I had to read more Aristotle, but at least I have a better idea of what he's up in developing the syllogism.
We got new cannabis, and we decided to hit the last of the old stash really hard. We've nursed a quarter from August until now. I'll likely grind up the last little bud tomorrow. Or maybe later tonight.
I think I want to read more of The Gay Science. I think Nietzsche is the only class-reading I can effectively read while stoned.
In Birth of Tragedy the man claims that only as aesthetic phenomenon can life and existence be eternally justified. The world is just Schein, a projection of the Will which underlies reality. The only that matters is if it tells a good story at the end. Nietzsche and his fascination with Schopenhauerian Will is what moved me to Crowely since he prioritizes Will above all other things. Reading Nietzsche this intensely has really screwed with the wiring of my brain. Sometimes, it's dragging embedded programs to the surface, and sometimes it's making new connections. It's hard to describe.
I have abandoned E-prime for this writing since I felt the need to play around with the metaphysical. I've done pretty well sticking to it in my school writing. E-prime seems like on of only a few radical, principle-motivated language changes that one can make without arousing much notice. Compare it to the various unusual substitutions for the "neuter masculine" in English, like ze instead of s/he or some such. However, those stand out like phalli on pisces. With E-prime, the language contains no signals, likely due to it removing something rather than adding or changing something. However, E-prime sidesteps a major way of thinking and talking and goes unnoticed. I think the neuter masculine carries less cognitive weight than identity/being copula, but steps entirely underneath notice.
Derrick, I've been talking to spirits.

I've been looking for an acceptable one for a few years. I am now satisfied.
