Classes have finished (finally), so I can now get down to the real end of term work. I've taken it easy all week, but I did get a little done on one paper yesterday. After I got home, I read through both papers and formed plans of action for where I need to go next. I still have a good bit to do, but I feel happy with my ideas about how to continue both papers. I should have a less difficult time getting started tomorrow, partly because I have a plan, and partly because I will have let the plan steep in my mind tonight. Spreading work out over more time usually means the task takes fewer total hours. This term, I have found that claim more true than not.
We've had snow, but nothing staying on the ground in our neighbourhood. At UBC, snow has stayed on the ground since the first day it snowed, but it doesn't seem to accumulate on the walkways. Either they get cleaned out really fast or it only remains in snow form when it lands on a snow pile and not when it lands on the pavement. Either way, we haven't had nice powdery snow for snowmen or snowballs. However, we've has snow earlier this year than last, we might have more of a chance for good powder before the end of winter.
Plans for tonight: reading, bhang, Diablo 2, slack. Not necessarily in that order.
