I got my Pragmatism term paper up to 2k words today, then I decided to chill for the rest of the evening. I want to get started on my epistemology term paper soon. I just wish I had more feedback from the prof than the vague "green light." I'll get it soon enough, but I think I can get started now.
I am way too high.
I miss the Truck. I used to have a blue 1986 Chevy S10. It rocked, a great first vehicle. In some senses, a piece of crap, too, but that fit my image of what I wanted in a car at the time. I don't name my vehicles, but that one will stay The Truck. If I ever get another truck, it'll have to be The New Truck.
Curry tastes good. Neither of us felt like cooking.
Corner Gas is an extremely funny show, especially if you come from a small town.
It's cold as nuts in here. Winter has certainly started. It's rainy and cold. No more fog, though.
I want to read wuxia novels. I've found a few online, but not a whole book all in one page that would be easy to copy and paste into a word doc. I don't know if I want to scan and 80+ chapter novel, chapter by chapter, in fan translation. I found Gutenberg texts of Fu Manchu novels, though. Whle an entirely different genre, I expect it to hold me over until I figure out what to do with this wuxia urge. I'm almost done with The Crying of Lot 49. It's been good and weird. I like that. Tara wants me to read Picture of Dorian Gray again. She just read it, and I haven't read it snce sophomore year of high school. I'll get into that once I'm done with my reread of Jhereg. I like those Vlad Talto novels. One or two of them toward the end didn't catch me much, but the most recent one impressed me again, and I look forward to the next.

And yeah, it is illogical, hence the quandry....I want life as much as its opposite, and it creates this giant tug of war in my mind...both sides are balanced sometimes, unbalanced others, yet never enough that one sides triumphs.
