Today, Canadians observe "Rememberance Day" meaning first and foremost that I don't have to go to campus. I don't like patriotic or war-glorifying holidays, but I'll take my days off when I can get them. However, I refuse to wear one of those stupid poppies.
I have a term paper proposal due on Wednesday. I don't have a draft yet, but I talked to my professor at break during class last Wednesday, and he thinks I have something. I want to put together something informal and email it to him tonight for a run-by this weekend, but I don't know if I'll get to it. I've read a bit for this paper, but the topic hits slightly more abstract (although not off-topic, kinda far from it in one sense) issues.
I feel tired today, and I might not work too hard. I have today to rest, and this weekend to work. Maybe I'll see what the I Ching advises.
