SEPPUKU
on my knees with no further words, no further thoughts as I feel the cold, sharp, silky blade of my wakizashi pressing against my chest, thoughts of this life have come to say good bye once again
...the trees, the branches, the leaves all of them move courteously dancing my farewell mesmerized by the power of this enchanting breeze of autumn, while the leaves fall in my tomb to comfort my last dream the cherry blossoms, my only real family, are the only ones to accompany me in this last voyage
heaven waits for me to release my soul, to fly free and reunite with my sisters
the color of the trees becomes darker, the sun is no longer there, and I feel as light as a feather that flies over the hills and far away
the warrior no longer is forsaken maybe forgotten at last in my last breath, forging my soul with honor Im sweating Im scared Im sadIm confused
inhale exhale inhale exhale deep breath argh
the birds fly making no sound the air brushes the trees silently the bamboo no longer chirp to my presence the river stops my forehead kisses the grass slowly my body fell
and as drops of life leave my body in silence, muted was my sword once again
