Title: I can quit any time I want too...
I'm a Final Fantasy addict. Not just any kind, but an old school addict. It all started when I was a young lad, and my brother borrowed a copy of Final Fantasy IV (then, it was called Final Fantasy II, because for some reason Square decided to shortchange use North Americans when it came to new Final Fantasy games). And throughout my life, I was addicted.
I bought Final Fantasy Chronicles (FF IV and Chrono Trigger in one set). Man, am I addicted to it once again. I haven't played in years. Worse yet, some of the Final Fantasies that I were not originally released in North America are on two other sets. I'm saving to get Origins (FF 1 and 2, but rare and more expensive), and Anthologies (FF V and VI).
For now, I am happy. Maybe in the future, i'll work my way up to the newer games, but they are expensive (as are their systems), and I heard they don't hold a candle to the old school Final Fantasy games.
Meanwhile... what else is there to report? In my usual Saturday afternoon game, my Orc Barbarian just tore a hole into the positive dimension with his runic axe, thereby collapsing the ground and getting his ass sucked in. In short, he has a few rounds to live before his head explodes from the overload of joy.
I bought an old Atari 2600 and some games. Everything was there, even the original boxes. And so, my retrogaming business idea is starting to take shape.
BTW, got any old systems? Hook me up!
Raven dragged home a file cabinet. Now we have storage space. But man, was it heavy!
My cheque will clear, so I can buy a computer upgrade, some clothes, and more shelving units so that my apartment looks habitable.
Oh, and I nearly had a psychotic episode.
Have a nice day!
