Title: Snags, snags, snags!
My latest scheme has hit a snag...
I checked out Cash Converters for NES games. Then I checked Electronics Boutique. Then, a bunch of pawn shops. Here is what I've come up with:
-They all beat me to the idea that selling retro games for a high price will get me money (higher than even I would have charged).
-Nintendo games now have a market price from $5.00 (cheap titles) to $15.00 (for rarer titles). The rarest... not even around.
-Thinking pawnshops will sell Nintendo cartridges for dirt cheap, I later found out that pawn shops don't carry them because the owners think they will get nothing but a dirt cheap price for them (little do they know...).
So, i'm once again confronted with the inventory problem. Gosh darn it with a stick. Foiled again.
Oh, and I tried ebay. They charge even more!
It wasn't long ago when we could pick up those cartridges for fifty cents a pop, and that they were aflush in garage sales and pawn shops. Now you can't find them anywhere, and they are overpriced beyond even my wildest imagination.
But i'm not giving up yet. Garage sale season is coming soon. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled.
I'm feeling better now today. Got a decent sleep, and I passed through a depressive slump... somewhat. At least... that's what happened today up until this afternoon.
The family dog died last night. She was a 15 year old Cockapoo (Cocker spaniel/poodle crossbreed) named Buffy. Being that she was in the family for a long time, I am a bit broke up about it.
So, lets all have a moment of silence for Buffy the family dog...

Sorry about your family's dog.
