Title: Man Am I Bored,
I am bored. I'm chairman of the bored.
TV has lost it's thrill. The computer has become dull. I can't concentrate on writing. No money. Job sucks.
I am bored! This must be how Al Bundy feels like every day, only that Al has a better job than me, and a family, and a redheaded wife. Damn... if you take it in that context, it sounds like he has it good! But like Al Bundy, everything turns into a chain attached to a rather large stone.
I'll talk about my weekend. It was pretty decent. I went to my friend GeneralShadow(real name withheld to protect the innocent)'s house and played D&D, like I do every two weeks (I would go every week, but I work nights). It was a great adventure. Somehow, the adventures where we all lose our armour to a rust dragon, get chased into a ruins, attacked by a flaming gargoyle statue, then lose our weapons to a rot golem only to have said rot golem pit close and have water flood the area (and the only ladder was destroyed, mind you), then have to get out of the hole only to have the major villain undead monk royally whup your ass, then disappear as the rot golem once again tries to get you.... turns out to be one of our best adventures ever! We were beaten to a pulp, with our items destroyed, and running for dear life from powerful nasties. Good times.
The best was when we encountered the big bad evil guy undead monk. We had no weapons, so what do we do?
"GET 'EM!"
We gangtackled him. A fighting monk. Boy were we stupid. The wizard and the psionicist/fighter were punched stupid and stunned. My dwarven fighter was punched for a third of his HP, but not stunned. I somehow managed to grapple the villain, but he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Then we ran from the rot golem.
Good times...
Church was ok. I went back, but felt strange that I came back after being away for so long. I'll tell you all about it. Right now, I need sleep. Goodnight... or should I say good morning!
