I just went and saw Underworld: Evolution this afternoon. I was just expecting a dumb fun action movie (starring a smoking hot chick 
). I was actually really impressed by it. I liked the first one, it wasn't a great movie but it definitely had style. This one wasn't as stylish as the first, but the art direction was surprisingly good. Action scenes were good, but maybe a little too much cheesy gore. Story was passable, but nothing stellar. And Kate Beckinsale is indeed smoking hot. So yeah, if you want to give your brain a couple hours off, it's worth going to.

I'm sad about it too, but I can't say I'm that surprised. Tensions do brew up in these environments.
