yeah for SG and their Cattle Decapitation interview!!!
New month so I thought I better update...at least a quick one until I think of something witty and amusing to write about.
So I took the train back home this weekend for a little family get together and that went swell and all. It was cool to be somewhere that you could look up and see the stars at night but it sucked being somewhere that you are surrounded by giant pickup trucks, suvs, huge shopping center/malls, and hellish suburbinite housing tracks. So I guess I'm thankful to be back in my little bubble even if I am surrounded by a starless sky and walls of concrete no matter where I look.
I don't have too much to say at the moment other than the fact that I am happy that we are now in that two month stretch of October and November that have always had that comforting grey feeling to them. I have the greatest melancholy memories from previous autumns...all those clavicle kisses and sudden rains that give you a reason not to get out of the damn bed. Anyway, I'm sure me fondly remembering last year already jinxed this year so just forget that I wrote that last paragraph.
anywho... Without any sappy, autumn-esque or kissyface reasons, and purely for the fact that this is an amazing and epic laptop/glitchpop lullaby, here is the song I listened to about 20 times over the course of the weekend.
So lets go back to the days
when things were so much easier in every way
You could pick up memories without even trying
Break it off with lovers without even crying
Say Ill never leave you without even lying
I know enough about myself to know this is true
Id like to not be able to go on without you.
-Clue to Kalo
Still we felt bulletproof
edited to say:
must. fight. off. this. flu!!!
must show world that vegans don't get sick, have a better diet and are therefore superior
