When things go good the writing is a little less colorful...but I guess that is to be expected.
So yeah, there was Earth Day festivities on campus today and there was finally a forum where people were somewhat open to some worthwhile ideas. Our environmental studies class was assigned to at least set up our group projects and take a look around, but my group was cool enough to blow off all their other classes and set up a table stocked with PETA stickers, flyers, and info packs. I was pleasantly surprised at the number or people who stopped by and were down to talk...
So long story short there I didn't feel like such a worthless piece of poop for a day. Plus I got to hang out with my rapidly growing crush/infatuation (not the one listed...that one doesn't really exist) for about 5 hours . Then tonight we attended this documentary about Green Anarchism, Surplus that was being screened on campus. Then I ran into my mother and sister and had dinner with them. Now I'm buzzing on wine and about to post a quote...lovebillyboy
"Stress, loneliness, depression, boredom, the madness of everyday life. Ever-greater levels of sadness, implying a recognition, on the visceral level at least, that things could be different. How much joy is there left in the technological society, this field of alienation and anxiety? Mental health epidemiologists suspect that no more than twenty percent of us are free of psychopathalogical symptoms. Thus we act out our 'pathology of normalcy' marked by the chronic psychic impoverishment of a qualitative unhealthy society."

I found out about Earth Day when it was nearly over. I wish I had known before, I would've done something to help- Instead I rang up $8,000 worth of fancy food for rich people who are snobby and probably don't recycle.
You have a crush! Yay. Crushes and springtime go together quite nicely.
Just checking in...
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend. it's supposed to be beautiful.
