Tonight I have to work. The regular work week would be Sunday night to Friday morning. However, they are backed up (and if I heard right -- they are backed up lots) -- so I might have only one day weekends for a while (not to mention having to start work earlier too.)
Since nothing is going on this weekend (or at least the day I am off) - I'll so my best to get all my TLE stuff for math done in that one day. Then Friday we have the test --- THEN, I need to use next weekend for the next test's stuff (since it seems we are getting down to the wire with the semester - and the syllabus states a weekend between each test coming up-- so I gotta make sure the weekends are primarily used for math. BUT, I still want to hang out with friends -- I guess I'll jsut have to make a limit on the time I am able to hang out though
I *STILL* have not had people (except for Katie and Tommie) text my cellphone so I can get their phone number. My old cellphone's screen went black and I was unable to retrieve any phone numbers before sending it back for a replacement. So, if you message me a week or later from now- and you get a message Who Is this???? you now know why.
Jumping back to the math class....
In math class - after a test is taken, the students are given a sheet that shows the updated class grades per person -- not by name - by student number. For the last few tests I was listed as failing. Now bear in mind, the test I just took I had gotten a 66 on it (yeah- wierd to get a 66 right before halloween) -- anyways - my letter grade now showed a C (Im guessing a 71 is a low grade C) -- and I noticed that he didnt add in my one lab paper (there are boxes indicating the different items for this section- and how each item was graded ) -- when I showed him that -- he updated my grade -- now its a 73 -- so it is still a C and maybe it can still go up. And with a C I can keep the financial aid too!
AND.... There has been a problem with me getting my TLEs setup where I could enter my book's code key. This was something I wanted to get taken care for a while now - and since the instructor was still dealing with the stuff I had showed him -- I figured I'd mention this situation to him today. He worked with me to get it figured out-- and at teh saem time HE FINALLY ASKED ME ABOUT THE JOB!!!! I was blown away by him asking.
Soon I will be going to bed ao I can get rest before work. Here is a question for those in SG land.... I take my cellphone with me everywhere. I especially have it with me when I drive to work- just in case something happens while going to work I can call up someone for help- or notify work of a problem getting to work (its a heck of a lot better than getting fired for a "no call-no show). BUT - there is a problem. You are not allowed to bring the cellphones into the buiding -- and the CBS rep for the workplace has already stated at orientation that she has walked people out for bringing their cellphones in. (walked them out -- as in they got fired). I need to keep the phone in my car -- but with the cold weather I am afraid my cellphone's screens will turn black (as what happened to the broken phone) . Bottom liine: I need suggestions how to keep my cellphone protected from the cold weather while being in the car. I have tried an old insulated lunch box- but the phone was still cold - and I cannot risk the phone getting broke.
So, if anyone has suggestions - please let me know. I need to keep the phone when I drive : -- you never know what can happen (especially with my luck with cars)
And now, I'll post the obligatory music vids --- and as usual, they are enclosed in the "Spoiler" thingy - so that those with dial up constitutions can feel at ese viewing the page without having dial up dysfunctions - nad needind some sort of viagra for their connection
