I think I have figured out a way to keep my body from getting as bad as it was the first day of this heat disaster: as long as I completely douse my head with cold cold water and leat it get absorbed into my hair, I'm ok for a while- yesterday I did it and I did not end up feeling like I was going to drop.
On a strange twist - today is supposed to be employee appreciation dinner. Some genius must have planned it when they heard of the excessive heat: there is no way in heck that anyone will be able to eat-- and if they do, I will not be surprised if they upchuck it within the hours afterwards.
I dont know if I even want to bother being at it -- since all the areas are HOTTT in there.
Well, got to go...
Side note: Im not well with indoor crowds. Being claustraphobic I try to manage -- but there are times I get panic attacks when cooped up.
There was one time.....
I went to this shindig....it was all closed in --- I had a heck of a time breathing....tried to go outside and there was a hoimeless guy that kept following me and when he finally got close to me, he told me that he was willing to do anything to get some money. (my translation: the dead body with no money is Ed after the homeless guy stole his money). SOOOOOO.....I end up wanting to get a beverage that would calm me down -- unfortunately the size of the cup and the price of the liquid never added up right: four cups would be more than getting a pack of 6 at the local store. Sadly, the beverages were too small and ended up not fulfiling their desired effect (either that or I'd ahve to break the bank just to get the desired effect).
Needless to say, if an exit is available, I head for it. Otherwise I'll be on the ceiling until I get air and something to ease my system.
