Listening to Flogging Molly
So I went to the BLS show last night at the Webster.....and once they started playing it was fucking awesome.....my friend and I got there at like 6:40 and doors didn't open until 7:30 and parking was already closed, so we had to park down the street....and the webster is in a really bad part of hartford....so the doors opened at 7:30, and the first set wasn't played until almost 9......but it was awesome cus it was one of BLS's roadies who had been friends with Dimebag Darryl, and had learned some of his songs, so he played those as a tribute to Dimebag, which was really cool....and then this other band went on that really sucked.........and then we waited over an hour for BLS......which sucked monkey balls, but the show was fucking awesome....there was an acoustic ozzy singalong, Zakk played one of dimebag's guitars, and there was a dildo on stage that was waving to the music....so then we all left and as me and my friend went to his truck we noticed that one of the windows had been smashed in and just about everything that could be stolen was.....they stole my knife the bastards......but then today i found out that flogging molly is playing at the webster on the 18th.....so i'm actually in the process of buying tickets right now....which is really cool....they NEVER come through ct.....and very rarely through new england.....so i just finished buying tickets and i'm going to blackmail my ex into going to see them with me, cus he's the one that got me into them......
i'm gonna have to wear something that they can sign and remember to bring a permanant marker......and i will have fulfilled my goal of seeing both dkm and flogging molly......but it would be totally kickass if they toured together......with the pogues mabey.....or gaelic storm cus they're fucking awesome too........i love music........
