Getting Bi - 2
"You dont remember fuck all mate. Anyway meet us in an hour at Maxies"
Jason hung up, sliding the purple blackberry into his suede coat pocket.
"Is he coming?" Anna asked, her eyes optimistic amidst the morning dredge
"Probably not, he'll forget the call even happened in ten minutes"
Anna paused in thought and muttered "I wonder if he slept with her last night?"
They were already at Maxies, a small caf that had seemingly been around longer than the town. Its walls a polished acrid green, chipped tiles and out of place photograps the only distraction to a washed out college kids eyes. Jason's hand raised calling over the waitress.
"I'll have a"
"What are you doing?" Anna stammered, cutting him off.
He looked at her perplexed. "Ordering food?"
"No its fine Jason, you just order your stupid food"
The waitress hovered for a moment, her fingers twitching as she gazed at the two. "I can come back if its.."
"No wait" Jason looked to Anna. "What's your problem all the sudden?, Im just ordering food for christsake?" He shook his head as if to shake off the sudden confusion sweeping his reality.
Anna's eyes darted between the fork and knife, each had been obsessively rearranged by her a few moments before. She looked up, gritted her teeth and then swallowed.
"If he doesn't want to date me that's fine, Im not bothered, honestly I'm not, I just wish he'd make up his fucking mind. I'm a good catch right? I have the assets right? Christ you'd think i was some kind of goddamn cripple"
Jason looked at her blankly.
"Anna"
"What!"
He looked to the waitress "I'll have a Ham Sandwich"
"Ugh" Anna seethed before slamming her hands on the table and storming out.

it was meaningful, because, i think ur fit, like ur taste in music, you use the phrase monged out, you seem similar to me in that you "get excited by pretty boys and pretty girls and otherwise mingle", and ur hobby is drinking, which i can relate to. who's got the most teen pregnancys now btw? what town? i like these words, "polished acrid green", but i didnt like your story. i didnt see where it was going and i didnt understand why Anna was being antsy. maybe if u wrote more i'd get it.
