and ruin
portions of my life
with red heads
but
i write about it
and reread it
like it's the best book
on the shelf

someone should
record this
and save it
for suckers like me
who believe in true love
and think
theres an over
the counter cure
for
being alone
believing
in lost hope
and buying into
the idea
that lust
can lead to
something more...

maybe it does
but it's hard to see
the forest
for the lies
at least
at my local bar
if you want my
advice
i'd say try
to except life
on all levels
it's too short
not too.
