I just came from a very short, albeit substantial chat with some friends. They all had some really nice things to say about the possabilities of me moving to Austin. It was even the same stuff that my ex says about Austin. I've sorta had that option on the back-burner this whole time because I felt like I'd be moving into the lion's den with my ex and her boyfriend and all their friends. I can't help but feel that it would be a very mentally unhealthy position to be in. HOWEVER, (and this is a huge however) I'd be closer to my two boys, who are 3 and 7 and the apples of my eye...

So, that's one option: Austin

Next, is Portland, OR. This seems to be at the top of my list right now because My best friend and his wife, and his brother and his wife, plus a few other friends all live there and I know that I'd have a really huge welcoming, loving, KIND, community...but no boys

The 3rd option falls somewhere in the middle: Stay right here, in Erie. I'm enrolled in college here at Mercyhurst College and I will be a senior this fall so I don't have too much longer left. If I would move to one of those other places I would have to transfer schools. Also, here is a girl that I've taken a liking to.

Choices are never easy...

One last option, however temporary it might be, I was thinking about spending a semester (mayber as long as a year) in Japan. I'd go as part of a study abroad thing, but it's always been my dream and if I don't go now, then when?

I'd really like to figure out where my future will take me, but I also don't want to force the universe into a path that it never intended...thoughts?
