Ok now for something a little more upbeat. I went and took my state EMT written test and i passed! Some of the questions were really messed up. I think one of them was "If you had a 28yo female that is 8 months pregnant and she was on fire, fell off a roof into a puddle,was drowning and her contractions are ten min apart, what do you do?" Ok so I am exaggerating a little but you get my drift. The messed up part is that they don't tell you right away if you pass or not. you have to wait to the next day, so you sit around and gnawing your fingers off wondering. But all is good! The only thing left for me to do is take my practicals on the seventh and that is a far cry easier.
I booked a nine day cruise with a couple of friends of mine. Our first stop is in Bermuda and then we end up in Puerto Rico. It will be nice to get away from here for a while. The last time i left the tri-state area was something like ten years ago when i went to Texas. All of my vacations have always been around family, have it be mine or a girlfriends at that time, or by my self. So to just go away with a bunch of really good friends will be a welcome change.
Remember if you want your dreams to come true, the first thing you need to do is wake up! thats my saying of the day. I won't bore you guys ( the two that actually read my blogs) any more with my ramblings.
