So, I've been spending a lot of time watching NASA footage over the last week. I am so incredibly jazzed about the return to manned flight to the moon. The Apollo 11 landing is my very first memory as a child. It's really interesting to me how a phrase (or smell, or any sensory input) can virtually transport you in time to a moment in your past, where you can smell the air, feel the emotions of the moment, almost relive the experience as if you were really there. Whenever I hear "Houston, Tranquility base here, the Eagle has landed." I am right back in my parents living room, 1969, my father has just woken us all up to watch something "you'll remember your whole life".
Good stuff. Good memories.
Does this ever happen to you? What's your tickle-phrase?
On a separate note, I was about to get more Chaps (cologne), but decided I might try something different. Anyone have any experience with Polo Double Black?

I was four at the time but I have a very distinct memory of being plopped in front of the TV and hearing that exact same phrase from Mom & Dad. Have you been watching "When We Left Earth" on the Discovery Channel? It's fantastic!
