How to spend 2 hours in the kitchen :
I had a bunch of veggies I needed to use or lose. I had some chicken teriyaki marinated, red and green peppers, onions, celery and mushrooms. So, at first I was thinking teriyaki chicken cheese steaks. I was half way through cooking the onions and mushrooms when I decided I wanted to go a different way. Now, the curried rice is one of my favorites ever, I think plain olde white rice would have been a better choice since the teriyaki was soooo potent.. Oh well, I have never cooked Chinese before, and I would have classified this as more Mediterranean, but it was quite edible, and sure looks pretty. Red peppers sure look like carrots once you've cooked em. And plenty of leftovers.

Can you believe I've lived in SD almost all my life and never been to Sturgis??? I keep wanting to go and get a job for the week as a walking advertisement for those airbrush-makeup guys that spraypaint titties. And yes, that job DOES exist!
