Cha-ching! My friend's connection came through and we got ourselves some box seats, gratis, for Tuesday night's Sox-Angels game. The weather might suck, but I'm willing those tropical storms away. I get to knock around Boston all day tomorrow, regardless, and I haven't had a chance to do that in a long, long time.
Yesterday was supposed to be a day off, but apparently the guy who runs the board on our sister AM station weekends decided not to show up anymore, so I sacrificed my day off just to get the baseball game on the air (that of the team I work for in the public address capacity, go figure). It was a good thing I was there, as a severe thunderstorm knocked the FM transmitter off the air, and nobody else would have known how to power it back up again. I'm so resourceful, they should be paying me 30 bucks an hour. Ha! This is radio though.
So little of the sporting life is ever discussed here on SG... so here's a question for y'all... what is your favorite sports team... and are you a diehard or more of a fairweather fan?

Eagles...I'm a my-friends-are-watching-so-I-guess-I-will-too fan. I did get pretty into it at the end of last season.

I wish I were at the Sox's game to see the Elvis' flying! Tell me how the game was tonight.
