Well I'm done in NY and I am on my way back to Missouri. I hate all this sow up here. And now it's time for my public service message. I saved a family's life today. Actually it happens everyday. Evryone, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, give these big trucks a little room and be just a little patient. Today, a family in a mini-van decided that they did not want to wait for me to make a right hand turn. The father was driving and felt that his family's life was not worth the 30 seconds that it would have taken me to make the turn. He decided that he wanted to try to squeeze between me and the curb. Had I not been paying attention, my trailer would have run over their mini-van. As it was, I stopped just in time and then did not move while he figured out how to get out of the mess that HE created. He was up against the curb with a light pole on his right, and I was about 1 1/2 feet away from him on his left. He finally managed to get out of the situation and then flipped me the bird as if I was the idiot. There are 9 lights along the side of my truck/trailer that were blinking my intention to turn right. And he either did not see them or chose to ignore them.
Several studies have shown that accidents between a truck and a car are 95% the fault of the car and the most given reason is the driver being impatient. I am not saying that all truck drivers are not to blame cuz God knows we have our bad apples to. But it is an everyday occurance, where a car will cut me off, pull in front of me then hit the brakes, drive down the road sitting right beside the trailer tires (blind spot...WE CAN'T SEE YOU!!!!!!), and all sorts of other dangerous and stupid moves.
Every single of of the ladies on this site are absolutly beautiful, and I would hate to see any of them, (or ANYONE for that matter), become a statistic. So I beg of everyone who may read this, PLEASE pay attention, be patient and a little road coutesy goes a long way for everyone.
ok, now I'll get off my soap box but I have one more plea to make. It's still ok to flash some tit when you pass a truck. It is really appreciated by the majority of the drivers out here.

Hah! Good entry, I'd say more than half the time the truck drivers get blamed, not fair in your case.
