I had a big sleep today and feel sooo much better than I did when I flew home on Monday. I can barely remember it I was so zonked.
I'm writing up my big blog post about the Brisbane Shootfest, I want to include previews of every set! So it'll be another day or two till it's up.
I ended up shooting 16 sets overall, 3 are already finished, one was submitted on Saturday believe it or not!
The other two are cheerfully uploading to Dropbox as I write this, so by the end of tonight, both those sets will also be submitted.
I'm halfway through an applicants set, and I've got four more sorted and culled, and ready for full editing.
I feel in control this time round, no more of this 'taking-six-months-to-give-back-sets' business.
I was super naughty and skipped uni today just to catch up on sleep and to edit, and I regret nothing. I go back tomorrow though, so my editing streak is going to slow down a little, but I'm super determined to be as quick as I can (while still doing a good job) all the same.
Every single girl I worked with has been a dream come true. I barely had to pose anyone, and I shot less photos than I normally would, and ended up with a higher percentage of usable photos.
Something feels different about this shootfest in general. I feel like literally everyone, models and photographers have all lifted their game, and are working together. It's about time Australia was given some recognition on here, and with all the high quality sets soon to come out, I really hope our country will no longer be ignored.
Well here's to hoping anyway. So many girls are worthy to be bought, this might have just been the turning point for Oz.
